Standard Training days

Cycling - Albany Cycle Club (ACC)

MONDAY (ACC) -  6am start from BCF (big roundabout). RECOVERY RIDE and also a ride where newer riders will start riding with a pack. Out to Yacht Club and Robinson. Coffee at Cosi's. Good group for new riders

TUESDAY (ACC) - Intermediate Pack 5.20am start from the Hot Bread Shop near Coles on Albany Hwy. Finish at Bay Merchants Cafe at 6.30am. Averages 30-34km/hr. Note can get up to 45km/hr on flats and sprint sections. Short cuts available, group waits for slower riders at certain points along ride.

Fast Pack 5.35am start from the Hot Bread Shop near Coles on Albany Hwy. Finish at Bay Merchants Cafe at 6.35am.
VERY FAST ave 37-40km/hr with sections above 50km/hr on flats. Group does not wait for slower riders.

WEDNESDAY - 6am start from the Hot Bread Shop near Coles on Albany Hwy. RECOVERY RIDE, spinning in small chain ring, no faster than 30km/h. Out to Yacht Club and back. Coffee at Dylans or Cosi's. Good group for new riders

THURSDAY (ACC) - "Slack Pack" Start at Bay Merchants 5.30am ~25km/hr. Good group for new riders

Intermediate Pack 5.40am start from the intersection of Mercer Road and Chester Pass Road. Finish at Bay Merchants Cafe at 6.30am or Dome Cafe at 6.40am. 

Fast Pack 5.35am start at Bay Merchants. Finish at Bays at 6.35am. 

FRIDAY (ACC) - 6am start from Hot Bread Shop near Coles on Albany Hwy. RECOVERY RIDE, spinning in small chain ring, no faster than 30km/h. Out to Yacht Club and back. Coffee at Dylans. Good group for new riders

SATURDAY (ACC) - ACC Racing or 7am starting at Bay Merchants Cafe.

Distances vary from week to week. Shortcuts are always made available.

SUNDAY (ACC) - ACC Racing or 7am starting at Dome. Coffee at Cosi's.

Distances vary from week to week. Shortcuts are always made available.

These are cycle club rides and tri bars are not to be used in the packs.

Note there are rides every day of the week. Contact the club if you are not sure which ride would be best for you or if you are starting out. We can put you in touch with others who ride at a similar pace.

Riding in the DARK

A friendly reminder to ensure you have adequate lighting, both front and back. Please ensure batteries are new or charged up before the ride. Have the "be seen" motto for not only your safety but that of other riders.

Swimming

SWIMMING:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday mornings at 6am at ALAC. Group training (not tri club specific).

Tuesday & Thursday 5:15pm at Emu Point groyne (ocean swimming - summer only)
